Bankruptcy: the delivery of a paper file
EUR 5 for the first 20 pages
, to be increased by an amount equal to EUR 0.15 per page from the 21st page onwards for the preparation and issue of the hard copy, in black and white, of files contained in the Register which are not covered by the obligation of professional or business secrecy referred to in Article XX.131.
Art. XX. 131 penultimate paragraph of the WER provides that any concerned party may obtain – through the curator – a material copy of the files recorded in the Register which are not subject to professional or business secrecy, provided that they pay a fee as provided for in Article XX.19.
 
Submission of the JRP application

After submitting your declaration, you will receive an email confirming your deposit in the Register. In this mail, you will find the account number for the payment of the costs of legal aid for EUR 20. Upon receipt of your payment, the clerk of the court’s office will place the application on the roll for further consideration.
 
Amicable settlement outside the judicial proceedings

The Royal Decree of 27 November 2019 stipulates that from now on, creditors must pay EUR 0 for submitting the declaration of debt claims through the Register with a possible inspection of the bankruptcy file or for inspection of the bankruptcy file through the Register without a debt claim (modified Art. 1, 1° RD 27 March 2017).

Art. XX. 19§ 3. of the WER determines:  The amount of the fee referred to in paragraph 2 shall be adapted ipso jure on 1 January each year to the evolution of the consumer price index using the following formula: the new amount shall be equal to the basic amount multiplied by the new index and divided by the starting index.
 The starting index shall be that of the month of December of the year during which the amount of the fee is fixed. The new index shall be that for December of the year preceding the first of January of the year in which the adjustment is made. Contact
